CEDIA is the international trade organisation for the home technology industry with nearly 4,000 member companies worldwide. Built upon a strong volunteer foundation, CEDIA provides access to industry-leading education, certification, research and raises consumer awareness. CEDIA has advanced the industry by developing timely industry education and certification, launching research initiatives, advocacy on legislative issues, building relationships with architects, builders, and interior designers, educating the consumer and recognising industry achievement.
Bespoke is proud to be part of the CEDIA certified community as a member since 2007. Recently our Director Melanie Malcolm joined the Board of Directors at CEDIA, Melanie is keen to support CEDIA with her events, marketing and business networking skills within the industry. Melanie is working closely with CEDIA on apprenticeships, an area that Bespoke Home Cinemas is keen to embrace, offering young people an opportunity to enter the world of smart home technology.
CEDIA were proud to announce in 2015 that their education programme is now accredited by City & Guilds. This means, that those who successfully complete either the Smart Home Technician or the Smart Home Designer pathways, will receive the only accreditation from CEDIA and City & Guilds in the home technology industry.
