Job Title: Senior Installer - Home Cinema & Smart Home
Location: Bespoke Home Cinemas, Leeds, West Yorkshire (projects UK-wide)

Bespoke Home Cinemas is an established residential custom installation company. With over 30 years experience and multiple industry awards, we design and deliver high-end home cinema and smart home systems for private clients, developers, architects, and interior designers.

​All projects are delivered by our in-house team, from initial design through construction, installation, commissioning, and handover. This approach ensures consistency, quality, and accountability at every stage of each project.

​Our work often involves the construction of dedicated cinema rooms, combining AV installation with practical build and joinery elements to achieve a refined, high-quality finish.​​

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Installation Engineer to join our installation team, based from our Leeds office and working on projects nationwide.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an AV / CI professional who values seeing projects through from start to finish. You will be involved in all stages of delivery, from early build and infrastructure works through to final commissioning and client handover, working alongside other experienced engineers.

​You will represent Bespoke Home Cinemas professionally on site and take responsibility for the accuracy, finish, and technical performance of your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction and installation of home cinema rooms, including joinery, and preparation works

• First and second fix installation of residential AV and smart home systems

• Integration of AV equipment

• Installation of fabric wall and star ceiling systems (training provided)

• Design, installation, and programming of Control4 automation and lighting systems

• Rack building, system integration, testing, and commissioning

• Installation, testing, and commissioning of data and telecoms networks

• Installation of CCTV, security, and access control systems

• Fault finding across infrastructure, systems, and control platforms

• Liaison with clients, architects, interior designers, developers, and project managers

• System documentation, structured handover, and client training

• Technical support and remote assistance as required

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the AV / Custom Installation industry

• Experience delivering projects as part of an in-house installation team

• Proven experience with home cinema room construction and joinery works

• Strong working knowledge of residential AV, automation, networking, and lighting systems

• Control4 experience beneficial but not essential (full dealer training provided)

• High standards of workmanship, accuracy, and finish

• Professional, confident, and client-facing

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a skilled team

• Full UK driving licence preferred
