Bespoke Home Cinemas appeal to donate Pre-Loved Technology in support of the Leeds Homeless Street A

Giving back…

Are you thinking of changing your TV or maybe thinking about buying someone a gadget as a gift for a Birthday or Christmas present? Do you have any unwanted electronics you no longer use in the home? Well we would like you to spare a thought for our friends at the Leeds based charity called Homeless Street Angels.

Here’s how you can help…At Bespoke Home Cinemas we have chosen to support the Homeless Street Angels by donating pre-loved technology. Our friendly appeal is asking you our friends and clients, industry colleagues and suppliers to donate.

Do you have a TV or AV system in good working condition that you no longer use?

A DVD player, computer, tablet, camera, PlayStation, mobile phone or gadget? Could it be put to good use? Providing everything is in good working order, fully tested by yourselves before being donated and safe to use we will be happy donate these items to the Homeless Street Angels and they can then pass it on to someone in need.

Or if you’re feeling extra generous you could donate a brand new piece of technology and we can help you with these purchases too! Simply contact us and we can place an order with one of our suppliers on your behalf.

About The Homeless Street Angels

The Homeless Street Angels provides outreach every Thursday evening on the streets of Headingley and Leeds City Centre, handing out hot and cold food, clean clothes, toiletries and more.

The Homeless Street Angels believe that homeless and marginalised individuals are capable of change and will only achieve their full potential when offered a safe, supportive, empowering and non-judgemental environment – it is their vision to provide such an environment and meaningful activities which will help reverse the spiral of homelessness.

They are currently working with Leeds City Council and Housing Options to re-house people off the streets and are part of the Leeds Homeless Charter to help eradicate homelessness in Leeds. Once re-housed, they continue to provide ongoing support by providing food parcels, and any additional help they may require.

Their dream is to open a day centre called "Abi House" in memory of Founders Becky & Shelley Joyce's Sister who passed away in August 2017.
