The CEDIA Awards recognise the top projects, products, and individuals in the residential electronic systems industry. Melanie and Gifford Malcolm of Bespoke Home Cinemas attended the event.
Melanie, also a Board Director of CEDIA, commented "This years awards really celebrated our global community with integrators traveling from all across the globe to celebrate some outstanding achievements, it was an honour to be amongst so many inspirational people and companies in one room"
The Special Recognition Award was awarded to Chris Pinder who took on the challenge of running the Marathon Des Sables, 6 marathons in 6 days across the Sahara Desert to raise money for industry charity Together For Cinema. To date, Chris has raised over £46,000. You can still donate here.
Melanie congratulated Chris on twitter saying " A well deserved accolade Chris! I’ve said it all along, our industry is a family and you had the support of us all throughout the fundraising campaign and Friday was the perfect occasion to bring everyone together to show their recognition of your phenomenal achievement!
